Messy Church is a way of being Church for Families and is for all age groups.  It's values are about being Christ-centred based on creativity, hospitality, celebration and Fun.

 

There are now almost 4000 churches of many Christian denominations running Messy Churches in over 30 countries worldwide, a staggering 500,000 people get involved in MC each month.

A typical Messy Church session includes a welcome, a long creative time to explore the biblical theme through getting messy; a short celebration time involving story, prayer, song, games and similar; and a sit-down meal together at tables.

It is a fun, relaxed and engaging way for people to come together, learn about Jesus and be part of St Matthias' community.
